What Can I Book A Milestone Session For?

Holiday

Do you want updated photos of your child on a solid or print backdrop?  Then a milestone session is perfect for that.  Portaits show your child's personality and are great yearly sessions to document their age.  A lot of my clients will book a portrait milestone instead of doing school pictures.  This way you can make sure there is no food on their face, their clothes are streight and they have real smiles for their photos.

Tummy Time

Milestone sessions are great for celebrating your child's birthday.  I have a lot of clients who book a milestone session every year for their child's birthday.  This little girl celebrating her 5th birthday was an HWP newborn and has been coming back to the studio every year for a birthday milestone session!

Milestone sessions are great for celebrating a holiday.  I have a large variety of backdrops at the studio for most holidays for you to choose from for your session.  Choosing a milestone session for a holiday means you get to choose your date and have a longer session with your child then a mega mini session allows.

Baby's change so much during their first year that it is important to document their milestones.  Tummy time sessions are best when baby is between 3-5 months old and can hold their head up pretty well during tummy time.  I will take photos of baby on their tummy, on their back discovering hands and feet, and in props/baskets.

Sitter sessions are done when baby is between 6-8 months old and sitting up very well on their own.  I will take photos of baby sitting on their own and with differnent props.

You can expect to receive your finished gallery within 2 weeks after your session date. You will receive an e-mail with the link to your gallery. If you need to select images for your package you can do so from the gallery and will get a download link as soon as you make your selections. You can purchase additional digital files or prints from your gallery if you choose to do so though, no other purchase is required.  

I have a closet full of outfits for Newborns-2 year olds.  I have some things for older children but you will want to bing some outfits with you if you have an older child.  I find that the old the children get the more of a style they have and want to dress in their own outfits.

First Birthday

I gave first birthday its own category because some parents don't want to do a cake smash for the first birthday and that is totally fine.  We can do a milestone session for your little one with no cake smash.  I will take their photos with the backdrops of your choice.  I will include props they can sit in/on and stand up with.
