Santa Sessions take place in my Shepherdstown, WV studio which is approximately 15 minutes from Martinsburg, WV and Charles Town WV. Approximately 30 minutes from Hagerstown, MD. Approximately 45 minutes from Frederick MD, Winchester VA, Leesburg VA, and Greencastle PA.   I also have clients every year that travel from locations farther away to celebrate the magic of the season.  After you are finished with your session I encourage you to hang around downtown Shepherdstown and explore the cute family owned shops restaurants.  There is even a Christmas market throughout the holiday season.

Gift From Santa

Each session includes a 10 minute time slot with Santa for your family.  Your children will be able to tell Santa what is on their Christmas list and enjoy special one-on-one moments with one of the best Santa in the business.  Who many of my client's children call the real deal and refuse to see any other Santa!  Santa Frank will engage with your child in conversation that will make the magic of season shine even brighter in the eyes (I know this sounds corny but believe me I have seen it happen over and over throughout the years).  It is an experience you and your children will not soon forget! 

Santa is check his list to see if your child has been nice this season.  One of the best parts of this experience is to see the joy in the children's eyes when they spot their name on Santa's list.  I also add a little bit of magic sparkles when editing to add to the magic of the season.  

At the end of your session your children will look in Santa bag and pick out a small gift from Santa.  Of course there will be a little magic added to a few photos in editing. 

Family Affair

Mad and Dad are welcome and encouraged to join in a photo with Santa and their kids.  

Age Requirements

There is no age minimum of maximum age to visit Santa.  I have had newborns as young as 1 week old visit with Santa.  Santa loves holding babies and it makes for the cutest memories.  The best ages to visit Santa are between ages 3-8.  This is when the spirit of Christmas is the greatest and their will get the most out of the experience but I do believe in capturing the magic at all ages and will make the experience as joyful and memerable as we can for all children.

Story Time

Santa will look through the book The Night Before Christmas with your children. I will add some book magic in editing to capture the magic of this wincerful moment with Santa! 

What if my child isn't happy?

I am not sure the reason but children between the ages of 1-3 usually do not like Santa.  It is very commen for there to be tears and refussel to meet the big guy.  We embrace this at the studio and capture the memory however it happens.  This photo to the right was my most liked and commented on photo of 2023.  The photos will show your child as they are and capture memories you will treasure as your children grow.  While crying photos will be taken if that is what happens,  parents are encouraged to be in photos with children who are unhappy.  If there are older children who are happy with Santa, they will be given time alone to spend with Santa.

What's Included In The Santa Experience?

What Happens After The Session?

Within 2 weeks after your session date you will receive your online gallery with the photos from your session delivered to the e-mail address provided when booking.  From the online gallery you can view and download your photos.  You can even order prints and cares if you would like but no farther purchase is required.  You will have a personal print release to order prints, cards and products from the photo lab of your choice.
